SERVICES — AFTER LAUNCH

After launch: maintenance, SEO and advertising

A website or a piece of software is not finished the day it goes live: that is where it begins. We keep it up to date, improve it based on real data and make sure the people looking for you can find it.

Empatix looks after websites, web apps and software after they go live: we keep them up to date and secure, improve them based on how they are really used, and work to get them found, through search engine ranking and advertising campaigns. It is the fourth phase of our method, the one we call evolve.

Why the work does not end at launch

A project left to itself ages quickly:

  • the libraries it is built on receive security fixes that need applying;
  • browsers, phones and search engine rules change, and what worked yesterday slows down or breaks today;
  • users use it in ways nobody predicted, and the data shows where they stop;
  • competitors publish, invest and climb the results.

A beautiful website nobody finds, or business software that does not keep up as the company changes, is an investment losing value month after month.

Maintenance and updates

  • Security: dependency updates, fixes for known vulnerabilities, access control checks.
  • Reliability: verified backups, uptime monitoring, action when something goes wrong.
  • Speed: regular checks of loading times on real phones and of Core Web Vitals.
  • Small changes: copy, images, new pages, corrections.

Continuous improvement

After launch the real data comes in: which pages get read, where users abandon a form, which features nobody uses. That data decides what to improve, one step at a time: a clearer page, a shorter form, a new feature when it is truly needed. For business software and web apps it means growing the software along with the company, instead of rewriting it every few years.

Visibility: SEO and AI engines

Being found on Google, and increasingly being cited by ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, is partly technical work and partly content work:

  • technical SEO: content in the HTML, structured data, a sitemap with real dates, speed, clean URLs. It is what we did on the Dionisi Group website;
  • content: a dedicated page for each service and articles that answer customers' questions;
  • local SEO: your business profile on Google, consistent details across site and directories, reviews;
  • GEO: llms.txt, factual and quotable sentences, the same company information everywhere, so AI assistants describe you correctly;
  • measurement: Search Console and regular reports on searches, rankings and indexed pages.

Advertising campaigns

Organic ranking takes months; campaigns bring visits immediately and quickly show which searches and which messages work.

  • Search campaigns: your ad appears to people looking for exactly that service.
  • Social campaigns: to introduce a product or an offer to a specific audience.
  • Landing pages built for the campaign: people who click arrive on a page about what they searched for, not on the home page.
  • Conversion tracking: we measure how many enquiries arrive and what each one costs, not just the clicks.

The people running the campaigns are the same ones who own the website: if a page does not convert, we fix the page rather than raise the budget.

Cost and timing

Maintenance usually has a recurring fee, proportionate to the size of the project and how critical it is to the business. SEO and campaigns are planned over periods of a few months, with measurable goals and regular reporting; the advertising budget is separate and you pay it directly to the platform. After a first conversation you receive a proposal with the planned activities and what you can expect.

How we work

  1. PHASE 01

    Listen

    We understand the problem before proposing a solution. Workshops, questions, zero pointless slides.

    A starting review: state of the code, security, speed, search visibility and business goals.

  2. PHASE 02

    Design

    Clickable prototypes in days, not months. You decide on something you can actually touch.

    A prioritised plan: what to fix now, which pages and content to create, which campaigns to try.

  3. PHASE 03

    Build

    Short sprints, frequent releases. Watch the product grow week after week.

    Work in small releases: updates, new pages, conversion tracking, live campaigns.

  4. PHASE 04

    Evolve

    We don't vanish after launch. We measure, improve and stay by your side.

    A regular report with the numbers and next actions; the plan is adjusted based on results.

Frequently asked questions

Do you also look after websites and software you did not build?

Yes. We start with a review of the project: code, security, speed, current search visibility. From there we tell you what is worth fixing now, what can wait and whether some parts make more sense to rebuild.

What does maintenance include?

Security and dependency updates, verified backups, checks that the site is online and fast, fixes and small changes. New features are planned separately, with their own estimate.

How long before SEO shows results?

Pages get indexed within days; ranking for the searches that bring customers usually takes a few months of steady work. That is why SEO is often paired with advertising, which brings visits straight away.

Is the advertising budget included in your fee?

No, they are two separate items. You pay the campaign budget directly to the platform (Google, Meta) from your own account, which stays yours along with its history; our fee covers set-up and management.

How do you measure whether it is working?

Against goals agreed at the start: form enquiries, phone calls, quotes, orders. We connect the site to analytics tools, respecting cookie consent, and you receive a regular report with the numbers and the next actions.
