There are other companies called Empatix in other countries: they are not related to us. This Empatix is based in Turin and its website is empatix.it.

Who is behind it

Empatix is the brand under which Abdelkbir Berrahhal works; he founded it and owns it. He follows projects personally, from the first conversation to launch, and writes the articles in the News section, where we share what we learn building software: local-first architectures, supply chain security, multi-agent systems. His profile is on LinkedIn.

What we believe in

The problem before the solution. We listen to the people who will use the software, every day, in what hurry and with which habits. The right problem is worth more than a brilliant solution.

No templates. Every project starts from the concrete case. If an existing product solves your problem, we will tell you.

Same care, different scale. A well-made business tool changes a team's day as much as a new idea changes a market. We treat them the same way.

Software that lets itself be changed. Readable code, tests, documentation: whoever comes next must be able to understand quickly and change things without fear.

Accessibility and speed are not extras. A site that works with a keyboard, with a screen reader and on a slow connection is simply a site built well.

How we work

Four phases, always the same: listen (understand the problem before proposing), design (clickable prototypes to decide on), build (short sprints and frequent releases), evolve (measure and improve after launch). They are described in the Method section of the home page.

What we work with

TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, WebGL and Three.js are the tools we use most. The full list is on the technologies page; we pick the technology to fit the project, not the other way round.
